I wasn't going to do it till later in the year. I found one with about 95% of what I needed if I did a build. The build was going to be about 9-10 months out. I didn't want to wait.
Got a 2024 3500HD Sierra X-31 off-road package L5P. This truck is amazing. It is so quiet, comfortable and smooth. I've had my other truck for 20 years and have loved it, but I was ready for a new one.
I will be putting the 2003 up for sale in the marketplace this week.

The exterior front has a few cosmetic things. The interior changed a lot for the dash. Large 13.4 " info center. Turbo changed, exhaust valve springs are stronger for a better exhaust brake.

Sure can tell when this goes into Regen. My drive to work is 70 mph but the drive home stinks in traffic. 15-20 mph. My mpg goes from 17-19 mpg down to 11 mpg. It does that for about 10 miles and then comes back up once you're at 70 again.

Is the info center all touch screen or did they put back some of the more commonly used buttons?

The dash screen is operated from the steering wheel buttons. The info center is all touch screen. It's pretty easy to navigate through and set things up. I look forward to setting up the trailing part. I have to set it up for when I just tow the 5th wheel, then the 5th wheel and boat(double tow), 5th wheel and side x side (double tow), boat and side x side individually. I hope it has the capacity for that many. I'll find out soon.

I just started eyeing a new truck, but I am still in sticker shock. Last weekend I was 5 hours from home with truck and trailer and had a u joint go bad. Thankfully it happened at a good time and place. But definitely has me wanting something newer and more reliable.

I'm putting this here because of the new truck. There is this plastic bracket that came under the back seats. I searched the part number and nothing comes up. I scanned the QR code and nothing. On gm parts it comes up with the first picture.
Anybody no where or what it is?

I thought as well. I was trying to figure out where on the front. It gives you two options of installation and the parts. Two screws or two rivets to attach it. It doesn't fit/align where you would think that it goes.
