Gas Pulling Tires

Have recently bought myself a 2000 GM 2500 gas to pull in my local gas class up here. I am wondering what everyone is using for tires nowadays on gas trucks. I am use to diesel and do not know if I should use the same tire just smaller? Or something way different. I run Duratracs and they have been wicked, may stick with them for the gas one as well or maybe BFG? Maybe even something like the dune grappler from Nitto?

I don't see why you wouldn't stick with whats working for you now, regardless of power plant.

I just figure its a different weight, different power band might need something different. I plan on trying duratracs just wanted to see what everyones thoughts were.

I always ran a more aggressive tire on my gas trucks due to less wheel speed and weight. But it all depends on the type of tracks you will be pulling on.
