Time to see what kind of shape my engine is in. I don't want junk, but I won't be using this very often. So I don't want to spend more then I need to do a compression and leak down test. Anyone have recommendations for a tester and glow plug adapter?

Thanks

I'm guessing a diesel tester will work for gasser too? Might as well be able to do both.

The gauge will have a hydraulic type hose to handle the pressure with a quick coupler on the end so that you can change from a m14x1.25 (gasser) tester nozzle to a m10x1.25 (duramax) nozzle

I'll have a look at them. I need an adapter that fits the lbz thought too.

Without spending the money on a snap on kit, LANG kits are about the best bang for the buck. Use my all the time and no issues. They have the adapter for 01-05 and 06+ heads and are fairly inexpensive
