Exhaust leak

I have 2009 crew cab got the turbo replaced an now have exhaust leak coming through the vents into cab. Took back to the shop an only exhaust leak shop can supposedly find is a leak form the muffler a bolt is broke an bad gasket at muffler. Can this cause exhaust to come into the cab while driving. It isn’t all the time it happens intermentally

check the uppipes for leaks. or anywhere they would have disconnected to install the new turbo. look for soot on all the connections near the firewall
