I just installed this kit on my truck and everything fit perfect and was pretty straight forward to do. I mocked the pump up backwards for some reason and that's when I took this pic.

It would be nice to have a pressure gauge on it to be sure it working, I'd rather watch a pressure gauge then temp gauge......but a very nice piece!

How would I know if I had twisted my water pump shaft off. I have a feeling I may have done this on the weekend. I am seeing no coolant flow out of my return for the charger. Has me wondering?

the easiest way to tell if you have a water pump issue is to pull off the lower hose off the pump. then use a bent coat hanger or something and see if you can move the impeller on the pump . when you look up inside the pump you can just barely see the impeller , if you can move it then its broke . could be either side ( gear or impeller ) .

I drove mine around quite a bit with electric pump and fans and everything seemed fine. My truck also gets extremely hot going down the track and it doesn't seem to take long at all for it to cook back down.
