LMM: EGR kit install help

i want to put in an EGR block off plate. will i get codes? do i need a programmer? is there anything i need to know before i proceed? thanks

my 05 lly dident throw codes but i hear some truck will again efi live will fix it if it does throw codes

o6+ will throw a code. You'll need a programmer or EFILive. Get with one of our site vendors and they can get you set up.

My 06 never thru a code guess I was lucky. Feel in your sig and we know what you have.

oops. mine did immediately so I installed a stick. guess they all are different.

Either a tuner that can block codes, or a finger stick ( a box that fools the truck into thinking the EGR is working still.
