Have been thinking of switching to EFILive for my lly. It's currently a stock transmission that has had a predator run at the 65hp tune. Just wondering how difficult it is to write your own tunes and such. Also I have been doing a little racing at the local strip which is an 1/8 of a mile and I have read that the weak link in the tranny is the 4/5 shift. If i locked overdrive out, would the tranny hold the race tune in 1-4? I know there is no definative answer but just wanted your opinion. Thanks

EFI entails lots of reading experimenting and discussions some of the best guys right on this website will be more than willing to help you out
yes the stock tranny is a weak link but here again one of the best transmission guys in the world is a member of this site his name is Mike L.

and yes you should be able to run the 1/8 with overdrive locked out
