LMM: ECM P2510 ECM Relay code HELP!!

okay guys here's a little backstory,
my truck sat for a few months (3 and a half) due to some injuries i acquired and didn't get out to start it so once it was dead it just sat until i was better.
Before the initial start up after the 3 months i charged the batteries for roughly an hour or so then cranked it right up, drove it around all day that day, as well as all day the next day. third day rolls around and i go out that morning to start it up and nothing happens, like its dead again. i jump it off and drive into work no problem. when attempting to leave work it won't start again, a coworker helps me test the alternator we determine that is bad so i take it out and replace it, while I'm replacing it i put one battery on the charger and took the other one to the auto parts store to exchange because the top seal was bad ( battery was no bueno) Get the new alternator in and the new battery and the secondary off the charger, start up and everything is fine. start driving home and it does well then about halfway home i come to a stop sign when i started going (doing about 30 and accelerating)the whole truck, lights, engine and all completely shut off and instantly restarted itself. its done this several times now all when I'm accelerating.
I'm getting P2510 which i know is a ECM relay code, i have checked all the connections as well as swapped the relay with another one to see if that resolved the issue, nothing has worked so far. Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Circuit/System Description

The ignition relay is normally an open relay. The relay armature is held in the open position by spring tension. When the ignition switch is turned to the Run or Start position, current will flow through the relay coil. A wire connected to the other end of the relay coil completes the path to ground through the engine control module (ECM). The electromagnetic field created by the relay coil overcomes the spring tension and moves the armature, allowing the contacts to close.

When the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position, the electromagnetic field collapses. This action allows the spring tension to move the armature away from the relay contacts, which interrupts current flow to the fuses.

If the relay fails to close, the engine will not crank. Communication will not be available with the use of a scan tool.

The relay table assumes that the vehicle battery is fully charged. Refer to Battery Inspection/Test. See: Starting and Charging\Testing and Inspection\Component Tests and General Diagnostics\Battery Inspection/Test

Conditions for Running the DTC

The engine has transitioned from start to run. OR
After the ignition is turned OFF before ECM power down.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

Relay is responding incorrectly to the ECM command to de-energize.
This diagnostic test runs twice a drive cycle.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTC P2510 is a Type A DTC.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

DTC P2510 is a Type A DTC.

Circuit/System Verification

If any DTCs other than DTC P2510 are set, diagnose those DTCs first. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle. See: Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

Important: If you cannot duplicate the condition, operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle with the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records.

The engine starts and runs.
DTC 2510 is not set.
Engine running, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. DTC P2510 should not set.
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.

Circuit/System Testing

Important: You must perform the Circuit/System Verification before proceeding with Circuit/System Testing.

With the ignition ON, disconnect the PWR/TRN relay and observe with the scan tool for loss of communication.

If the scan tool can still communicate with the vehicle, test the IGN 1 voltage circuit supplied by the ECM relay for a short to voltage. If the circuits test normal, replace the ECM.

With the ignition OFF, probe the relay control circuit X2 19 at the underhood electrical center with a test lamp connected to battery voltage.

If the test lamp illuminates test the relay control circuit for a short to ground. If the circuits test normal, replace the ECM.

With the ignition ON, probe the relay control circuit X2 19 at the underhood electrical center with a test lamp connected to a good ground.

If the test lamp illuminates, repair the short to voltage.
If the test lamp does not illuminate, replace the relay.

Repair Instructions

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure. See: Verification Tests

I'm going to be honest, I really didn't understand half of that post. But I did understand the end of it that seemed like it pertained to my situation, I appreciate the reply and I'll give that a shot in the morning and see what happens. That should explain the code but I'm curious as to why my truck shits off and restarts itself while driving down the road, all I can figure is the new alternator is grounding out on something.

Relays are pretty cheap, so you could 'fire the parts shotgun', replace the PWR/TRN relay, and maybe your problem will be fixed. If not the relay, you need to do the testing to see if the CIRCUT is bad or that the ECM is bad. Just reading from what I posted a few years back.
