I have been contemplating putting an Aluminum CM brand ER model hauler bed on my 2014 GMC Denali 3500 Dually. Just curious if anyone has one and how you like it. Curious how much is actually Aluminum on it. According to their site is has 4" steel framework, and the deck of it is 1/8" steel. The weight difference between steel and aluminum in the same bed is very minimal. The "Aluminum" bed weighs in at 1109lbs.
Also, anyone know what the factory Dually bed weighs?
My main reason wanting one is this truck will mainly get used to pull my big horse trailer with living quarters.
