Not sure if this is where it belongs but seemed like the best place for interior

Anyhow has anyone replaced the carpet in their 03-07 classic trucks? Looking to replace the carpet in my 03 and doing a google search led me to way too many options that i dont even know what to think. Looking for oem or better quality carpet. Looked at lmc but their reviews weren't good. However im still open if anyone has had a good experience with them. Any and all direction appreciated, Thank you!

if I was in the position of needing new carpet, I would probably have it sprayed with bed liner instead. not sure how it would effect noise though

carpet does a real good job at stopping noise and heat transfer with the padding under it. i wouldnt just bed line the floor.

when i was looking at carpet, i was looking for NOS stuff for my 02. i found a couple on Ebay but never pulled the trigger. if its not factory, they dont lay nicely, usually are thinner material, and just dont stand up as well.

Unless your carpet is trashed you can pull it out and power wash it and make it look new again.

I’ve done this many times and recently on my lbz

Agreed with Chevy1925!!! Factory is the best option.

Also, I don't know why any one buys anything from LMC. Their prices are usually higher if you shop around. It's the Same aftermarket junk that every one else sells.

Yeah i would never even dream of bedlining the interior. For many reasons

Im not sure if factory is still made, i doubt it. If they dont ill just get a rock auto special for 200 bucks i guess, not much loss if anything goes wrong

It might not be made but still might be available. Last I checked you can still get a headliner for the GMT 800 trucks.

Example of my carpet I power washed. It’s almost as good as new now

I've honestly never pulled the carpet on a crew cab, how big if a pain is it to do?

hour job. Not bad at all. Take the seats out, pull the console if you have one. (Seat bolts hold it down and then two bolts under the radio, and a plug in under the cup holder). Take the dash support bolt out and pull the side plastic entry covers at the doors.
