Opening this thread to start accumulating info on Basic Performance Upgrades for the LMM engine platform.

EGR Blocker plate
EFI Live
Transgo Jr and flushing out with Transynd
DPF delete
3" Downpipe
PCV reroute
Routine flushing of hydroboost unit
Sleeves and DHD brace
Leave the damned airbox and factory filter alone with stock turbo, lol
Run additive of choice at every fillup to keep injectors happy
Ebay fender liner door mod to make it easier to change fuel filter
Upgrade fuel filter to Nictane with Donaldson and water separator bowl
Monitor with EGT alarm

Trans lines. GM will warranty them at 125K miles or less but if they aren't leaking now they will.

Looks like the basic stuff is covered. LMM is one of my favorite engine codes! Mine did 488 977 with a ppe programmer on level 5, totally stock truck including exhaust...

One honorable mention for me is the True Trac. My g80 was the most finicky sob out there. The TT is one of those "why didn't I do this sooner".

Check your transfer case fluid level regularly. Or drain and fill with 2.5qts of 5w/30 synthetic engine oil, through the speed sensor hole.

Fumoto valve for oil changes

Transfer case filter has a magnet to reuse that lives above it. Don't lose it. Bought it used? See if it's missing.

If you tow a lot of weight or have lots of stopping and going maybe look into an LML hydro boost for better pedal feel and response

Not to side track the thread but I am wondering something, I have the Nicktane / Cat adapter up front but am wondering about the Donaldson filter with the bowl you speak of. Is there a thread where this is talked about ?

The Cat filters (typically) don't have water separators in the filter. The Donaldson P553203 has a great micron rating and separates water from the fuel.
The glass bowl screws on the bottom so you can see if there is water without draining.
