So in the middle of replacing my blower motor resistor and I find out I have the wrong part. I did my research and found what I thought was the correct part number and ordered it. So now I go to install it and I find out the bolt pattern is different.

Can anyone give me the right part number to order? P/N I ordered was 22807122

I believe they are different between manual and auto climate controls. Which is yours?

You’re correct Tom. If I’m not mistaken, I believe they may be different depending on if you have the center console with vents or not as well. Rock auto has them listen.

So I have the manual climate control and no center console. The part I bought was the one i was able to find on gm parts direct page.

I'll look on rock auto and see what they have, thanks gents

Looks to be so. Manual controls (except floor console). Mounting points look to be the same.
Seems you originally bought the one for HVAC with the floor console. Hopefully you can take it back.

I wonder why it states, "MAY REQUIRE DISCARDING OF OE RESISTOR MOUNTING PLATE & MOUNTING NEW RESISTOR DIRECTLY TO CASE", though.

Thanks Tom. That comment is my only hang up so far. Um not really sure i understand what theure trying to say? Maybe it means throw away the old one and bolt in the new one?
I should be able to take the wrong one back.

When I did mine I just drove over to the local auto parts store and did it in their parking lot, they had to open a couple boxes before they found the correct one.

Get your VIN#, go to GMPARTSGIANT.com, enter your VIN#, and do the parts lookup. You should have the correct part #. Then with the GM part number, you may be able to find a lower cost ACDelco part number. Buy the part from your favorite supplier.

GMPARTSGIANT isn't the only site that does a lookup by VIN#

That's the way I buy parts.
