I know a few of you guys know your networking stuff real good.

Anyone use the ASUS RT-N12

I am trying to setup my 3rd one and for the life of me can not get it to work.

I have one setup as a Router the other 2 as Repeaters

So

#1 = Router - Works like it should ( Cable modem to this )
#2 = Repeater - Works like it should ( wifi from #1 then cat5 from #2 to two desktops )
#3 = Repeater - does not work ( wifi from #1 then cat5 from #3 to a desktop )

I am trying to get the 3rd desktop on the network but it does not work for some reason.

Setting on both Repeaters are the same.

Is this just something that cant be done or what may I be missing

I doubt that model will allow multiple repeaters. The network is probably oversaturated. I would try setting up two different SSIDs (for example: network1, network2) on the main router then repeat each one separately - network1 on #2 and network2 on #3.

You really need secondary routers with a bridge mode instead of repeater.
