Hello, I have a 2011 chevy lml with 286,000 miles on it , I am having the head gaskets replaced and would appreciate any suggestions that you may have on what i should consider replacing or upgrading while it's apart,??? Nothing real radical ( i can be easily influenced)more along the dependibility and longevity side!!

Water pump, pcv reroute, new seals in your oil cooler possibly (I did because I thought that’s why was leaking but wasn’t but it’s right there), idler pulleys, really easy to get to the down pipe and up pipes at that point and if you don’t replace the y bridge I would definitely be cleaning it.

Are you going all out having the head done? Studs?

I agree with Zach.
Updating to a newer oil cooler if you tow heavy.
Tuned? I would do some EPA weight reduction.
Maybe a cp3 conversation
I painted everything I could and replaced all the bad split loom on my truck.
