Absolutely you can. If your like me you do one thing at a time. Like was said above a built trans would be best or do some trans mods at the least.

Alright. I plan on doing some stuff and then some stuff later. If I did all the wherli fab or hsp piping and then cold air intake with 68mm turbo how much power would you say you would push? Like mid 500 on hot tune?

Max... we dyno'd my Fleece 63mm street on ATP's dyno 2 days before Rob shut down. With my MikeL trans, AirDogII 165, Fleece 63mm street & Deviant y-bridge, with stock fuel and running winter diesel, horse power was: DSP 5... 553.6, #4... 537.8, #3...495, #2... 450 & #1...399.7. Tunes 1 & 2 both have a turbo-brake function.

It’ll get close but your tranny will complain.

2009 Chevy LMM. It will be about a year or so until I do everything because I have to save up. How much lag comes with a 68mm. I plan on buying built tranny.

I have a 2008 lmm and my torque converter started to let go with just tuning. IMO if you have to save up do the transmission first, that 68mm will roast the trans unless you run a very conservative tune, and if you do that there really is no point in doing the 68 because you will have a laggy truck with nothing crazy for power.

When my 72mm comes on I bet it smoke a stock trans on one pass lol.

You will have a little lag. Not terrible but enough that you will need to learn how to drive the truck.
