Hi all, I was wondering how long a 4l80e will hold up with these parts in a '93 half ton with a one ton frame, long travel front suspension, ff 14 bolt, a gen 5 454 making ~600 horsepower, an AAM 9.25" with ARB air lockers in both axles, & 4.10 axle gears.

The parts that I'm going to be upgrading the 4l80 with are:
-alto red eagle frictions & kolene steels
-billet input shat
-billet forward & direct drums
-36 element sprag
I'll be using billet 6 pinion planetaties, 2.75 1st, 1.57 2nd ratios

Thanks in advance for the information

I just did an 80 on Saturday in a turbo lsx truck. I used a jakes kit which consisted of all high energy frictions, billet input and forward hub. The good sprags etc. I recommend doing their hydraulic upgrades to dual feed the direct clutches, instead of the transgo 3piece separator plate. Also the pressure regulator spring and plug. Then you can do the accumulator delete plate for 3rd and 4th gear.
