So I gutted the cats and EFI tuned the 1500 Chevy I have. Went out for a test ride and the 2nd time I went WOT, lost 2nd, 4th, and reverse. I know the sun shell thing is broke.

Mike you got any advice for parts to put back in during the rebuild? Not going for any high horsepower, just to make it live with some moderate abuse.

Do you have any of these parts for sale?

You're right about the shell splines being ripped out. Get the shell called the Beast as it holds pretty good power. I would use Raybestos GPZ 100 3/4 clutches and a Transcel HP valve body kit. All this can be purchased at Transtar.
