I dont know if this problem is only common to right hand drive conversions but since Ive fitted 285/70R17 tires Ive noticed that on certain surfaces the steering wheel will not turn it will just lock ,I have not checked pump pressure yet just wondering if this is a common problem with fitting larger tires

I have a ram assist on mine for that reason. I run 375/55-16s frequently. Even with smaller tires, if the front got loaded down, the steering became too stiff to suit me.

If your not moving and you have anything larger than stock tires on ashpalt-that is normal. I had the same problem with my 285's on my 05 and GM said normal.

You should try it with 35X18's:D

Backing the Goose Neck trailer up a steep hill was the worst for me. Of coarse, that is how I had to get it into the driveway each time. :(

Much better now.

mine does the same thing with the 285's. My old broncoII with 33's would lift right up over curbs if I wanted it to. Are our stock pumps just not stout enough for the amount of weight or what
