Just bought this 2017 l5p with close to 41k miles on it about a week and a half ago i’ve put roughly 1300 miles on it since i’ve purchased it and already have a check engine light for p2002 don’t have an actual scanner to pull the details of the code but all i got from my old lmls autocal was the ecm code p2002 any info on how i should go about this? it’s already out of dealer limited warranty after 1000 miles but still under power train and what not but code seems to be related to the dpf i’m assuming?

P2002 is particulate filter low efficiency. Should be covered under the emissions warranty

Not a bumper to bumper deal but should still be under the 8 year 80k emission warranty. Dpf isn’t specifically listed but I believe it falls under it still

DPF filters fall under the emissions warranty, but the EGT and pressure sensors do not. I was able to get a new DPF out of MBZ for our GLK250 with 77k miles on it.
