2011 van fuel filter

Hey guys, buddy of mine just bought a 2011 van with the LGH motor I believe. He wanted me to help him change the fuel filter on it this weekend but I've only ever changed them on my 02 Sierra with the LB7. He said he has a canister style filter and an inline one and he claims that they are located under the van instead of under to hood like on my truck. I just wanted to know if there's any other major differences doing this in a newer van than my truck, like if it has a bleeder screw and hand primer ect. Before I head over there.
