Question: ‘15 F350 odd tire wear

My buddies F350 front tires. The rears are wearing the same just not as wore out. Not much cupping. Almost looks like they where over inflated, but the wear isn’t centered on the tire.
30k on the tires
60psi in the tires
Has been aligned by a shop that’s been around a while.
Tires rotated 2k ago.

2 or 4wd? 2wd are twin i beams and are not the nicest on tires... least im pretty sure the 350 is. i think the 450 goes to a straight beam like a 4wd front axle.

i see absolutely nothing wrong. hes on top of tire rotations so the center will wear out quicker since radials are not perfectly square. he probably does alot more highway driving than city driving as well.

The wear isn’t centered though it’s more on the inside. He is easy on tires for the most part. Your right mostly Hwy. I just can believe he only on 30k on them and they are bald.

Here are mine on my 2015 2500HD my truck weight 9500lb and has 35k on them. Same tires.

yours are about done too. Those are soft tread tires when i looked at them. just not going to hold up for long distances on the highway. great tire for off roading though with the soft tread. alot like the KO2.

as for the slightly more wear on the inside. .5 of a degree of camber can cause that but yet he can still be in spec of factory alignment tolerances. hes also running a wider tire than factory which will amplify this look and less tire roll under as he corners due to the wider contact patch so the outer edge doesnt take as much of a beating vs a stock skinnier tire.

either way, even if he corrects camber that little bit, it wont increase tire life. he has no nasty cupping, no feathering at the tread edge and a rather nicely looking wore tire that doesnt point at anything directly like worn shocks, imbalance, lack of rotation, too much toe, and so on.

There is something wrong with that suspension. I've got over 70k miles on my set of tires like this and they look great yet in my opinion.. And I've pry only rotated 3 or 4 times not sure.

Check the trac bar ball joint and bushing. Both are serviceable items from ford.

Have him chalk the tires and see if anything is way off. Otherwise I agree with James, it looks pretty good. Maybe drop the psi a few
