So I don’t know much about the 10L90 other than it’s a 10 speed in the Camaro and is rated for 650 hp & tq. The first 4 gears are lower than the 10A Allison and the next 6 are close to or the same.
So why would this not be a good candidate to go behind the 401 hp 464 tq L8T? Is it a duty cycle thing of it not being to hold up to the high tq and hpit would be required to hold for longer periods of time as opposed to being in a light car?
