You need a constant tension spring clamp, you can get them in a t-bolt style or worm clamp. Don’t over tighten them, some silicone is soft enough that the clamp can actually cut through it. We used silicone hose all over cat equipment, with no coolant leaks...

ok, so maybe I'll try new OEM spring clamps on the leaky connections first before ripping them out. Thanks

I would buy constant tension clamps from McMaster Carr before I bought the GM style clamps.

Those spring clamps are for low pressure only

Their constant tension bolt clamps would likely work better then spring clamps. Same type used on the boost tubes

I talked to Dan. He says if I remove the clamps and lube under them replace that it will fix the problem. I’ll try it.

Moved this over to the General area of Hard Parts. Applies to all models is why.

I was thinking that too. Bolt or worm drive clamps would be a better fit.

This style works very well.
https://www.finditparts.com/products...SABEgKPefD_BwE

This style is more robust.

Good looking clamps. I was thinking something like the OEM clamps on the silicone boost tube hoses; this looks to be it.

McMaster Carr has T bolt style clamps with qnd without the springs. Some even made just for silicone hose
