Bumping this back up. Looks like it's happening for sure but Seguin instead. Any places to look for housing wise? I want country but close to the necessities.

Not sure exactly what's available but there is a lot more country areas near Seguin that will be closer to town there than in San Antonio . Seguin in smaller and no where near as busy . It's more lay back . If you like country you'll Love Seguin

Thanks! From what I am finding in Seguin, it certainly does seem like a nice area. I have also heard New Braufnels is good as well.

New Braunfels is a big tourist destination.

That is what I have heard. The paperwork was finally sent in, so this is a for sure go now. I am actually going to be looking for a house in New Braunfels. Seguin is the next on my list.

Bump this up. Finally received an offer on my house to get this move done. Anybody have any insight on Converse?

I was in seguin for a couple of months working, and it's a small town near San Marcos and San Antonio. They have a Walmart

I will be working in Seguin. I have heard mixed opinions on the area and some of the others. New Braunfels is becoming more appealing lately. Housing in Converse seems to be priced better for what you get.
