Default tct wheel stock lly charger\twinned

Just curious about future plans. Has anyone ran the tct wheel in in the stock lly charger and have any kind of review on the subject? And if so has anyone twinned over it. Was wondering if I redid my ar and turbine on my tct 75mm, how it would do over a tct stocker?

Has anyone run one just as a single in the stock charger?

I've not done a tct, however I did put a batmo in one and wasn't really impressed with results vs effort..

I've done a batmo. As far as what I think if your doing extra stuff while your in go for it. Just make sure you have it balanced. And it did provide gains as far as spool up goes. You could tell the difference. If you know how to pull the charger quick and easy than I'd say go for it but don't expect marginal gains.

I've read that they move alot of air at a slow shaft speed. Being on the stock vgt turbo might be what I need for this manual. Then if I drop my biggen on there?? But i don't know how the big one would want to push through it and what not

like a batmo or double bat or the tct? Not expecting a miracle just something different and that would work well for me. I don't know what the hype is on what it will do in a stock charger maybe I can try to see what that will do alone, just wanted some reviews

If your going to that trouble it would be best to have Russell port that sucker as well. I think you would see more gains with a port job and the wheel. In fact he was doing some tests and posting results.

As far as working good twinned. The fastest spooling my truck ever was is when I ran the stocker and GT4202R (75mm). It was a lot of fun on the street and pulled trailers like a dream. What I'm running now spools much slower but has way more power potential for the future.

Might be worth doing, wonder what a port job costs. Probably would be fun on the street, I don't know if it's worth the money and trouble for what I do in it. A 75 alone was fun on the crew for a very short time. I'm thinking maybe go with 3.42 gears and twins. But in the way early stages lol. I think the taller gears would help it come alive a little more in the lower gears. And help calm the launch down, I think 3.42s would help. I wish I had a 2 1\2th gear lol just to launch in.

I'm going to keep an eye on this. I'll be ready to do something with mine in the next couple years. Been wondering in my head what the best twin setup for a manual was.

I'm gonna go back and watch vids. I dont think my stock turbo does much til half way through 3rd which happends fast. But i don't think a big single will be ideal for getting of the line under no boost. But I'm on 285's there like 30 inches tall, so gearing and setup I do should work well with drag radials the same height. I half to hit third so quick after 2nd on a launch, 2nd needs longer legs. With taller gears I hope I can get a good hit with whatever turbo setup I have pretty early in third.

Looks like 20 psi max in second and third, then mid to upper 30s in 4th 5th and 6th. That's powershifting. It's alot lazier recovering from a normal shift. I would honestly probably throw the 75 over the stocker first and just see what's up. Then mod the stocker if it's not what I'm going for.
