Ordered a new 4g pump today. $269. When I split the motor apart it was full and black crap all stuck together. The tech told me it was a know prob with the old pumps. When the seal goes bad it fills the motor with diesel fuel and burns them up. he said It happens alot when the pumps sit alot. The new 4g pumps won't do this or so I was told....he also said if I could get ahold of the original owner it would have been covered under warranty since he filled out the card. I just don't have time I need my truck back asap, new pump will be here friday

Glad they got you taken care of. I work for Air Dog in the industrial side. The 4G is the cats meow.

It was only a $50 difference between the two pumps
