I just watched the video of the Hptunes rolling the truck on the dyno and it looked an awful lot like Nick Priegnitz from Duramaxtuner in the drivers seat?

Santa dropped me a totally unrelated zip file couple days ago. It was better than Christmas morning for the CANbus and custom marine stuff I do. Then I got a look at Santa, and can safely say, this L5P shit is done...

Yes it's gonna take a little time to get tables and stuff all mapped out, but I no longer question the rest. Just feel proud to see the techie crowd and gear heads coming together.

Let that be a lesson to ya Detroit..

Never said anything about "winging it" Evan...I was talking more about the way they are announcing every new discovery on social media. Those things are read by the a-holes in govt, too. Would hate for someone else to get shut down and fined like the others.

Nick can tune the shit out of these trucks, I've just felt like the L5P became part of our community...

Only thing is... I've never heard anything good about HPtuners and Duramax?

Not knocking HPtuners bc that's how my LS is tuned...

So what should we be doing to our trannies in preparation for this? Dummy solenoid enough? Or should we be going for better TC too?

01-16 converters wonít work which makes things a pain in the ass . Constant pressure will help though. I was able to abuse my stock L5P enough in 15,000 miles to hurt c3ís and oddly enough c1ís. Suncoast and I went through it and made up a converter for them last July in anticipation for the tuning being available as it was only a matter of time.

How much horse pressure were you putting through it? Iíve heard 540 is the limit of the stock turbo but thatís banks saying that.
