I purchased a Duramax after having a Dodge 5.7L gas for a year after having a Dodge 5.9 cummins for 18 years and 300k trouble free years.

Duramax is a 2013 with 99k - i put 10k on it last year.

Here is my issue;

Driving a Stock 2013 Duramax. Just started tossing a P0420 code. I have TorquePro and i watched the four EGT sensors

Cold they all read OK (within a couple of degrees of each other)
Start truck and the #1 and 2 go up to about 655-700 degrees pretty quicky, 3 & 4 are 150ish lower. As the truck comes up to temp #1 & 2 drop down to about the same as 3 & 4 at 350-450f

NOx #1 is a lot higher than #2 (#2 stays close t ozero - #1 is all over the place up to 500)

DPF #1 is about 50 higher than #2 at550f and 500f

Filter Bank1 Delta Pressure -300kPa

ANY Ideas as to the issue?

any other data needed, i may have it?

Thanks
Randy

Welcome to the forum. I had a truck doing similar things and it was the 9th injector causing issues.

My personal lml was doing that and it was the button on the steering wheel sticking down.
