I have ridden the backcountry for 25 years in Idaho, Wyoming and Alaska. My first sled was a 79í John Deere trailfire 340. I actually bought a snowmobile before a vehicle. I have been a life long Arctic Cat guy until the 2012 proclimb, what a piece of shit that was, 12,500 bucks and 3,500 in aftermarket parts to make it work the way I wanted Iím a bit salty about it stil...

Anywho, rode my buddyís Ktm500 with a timber sled kit a couple winters ago, Iím hooked I grew up ridding and racing dirt bikes so I felt right at home. As James mentioned itís like riding the dunes.

I've ridden a dozen times or so over the years, but down here in southeastern Ohio we don't get enough snow anymore to make owning one worth while. Everyone switched to side by sides. When we going skiing I'll usually try and rent a bike for a guided tour of the slopes at night or whatever.

If I knew anybody up north with access to bikes and big open areas to ride, I'd sure be down for a making a trip to check out the terrain..

No I think Iíll keep the ole 8shitty as a mostly stocker, Not that I donít love the turbo. Just donít have the time to dial in a new turbo, plus I still have the xm turbo to bomb around when I feel the need to pull chutes.

Ole white chocolate is retired from sled deck duty and stowed away for the winter, she is a cold hearted bitch. But hey who cares race truck the 16 is the winter beater now. Few buddies been riding blue river/valemount area, looked like a couple feet but still a little short for my liking.
