The 1976 "Best Of" album was one of the cassettes I wore out in the old Sanyo Bi-amp radio (ooo -- hifi!) in my Cutlass in high school. "China Grove" and "Listen to the Music" are still favorites of mine. "Cycles" was the last album I bought of theirs. It sounded more like their older songs.

Dang...these guys got big a few years before my time but I grew with the music for sure!

I don't think a person that's gone to most any a bar in the last 20 years can say they hadn't heard a doobi bros song, probably groved out to it too...but could they name the artist?


Gimme the beat boy is a CLASSIC!
