Default 2017 Allison EPC solenoid plug

Does the 2017 Allison still need this to keep line pressure up at all times?

Deviant makes that plug. Itís cheaper through them. I didnít think the valve body had to come out for those plugs, mike? Iíve always just done the solenoid mod like mike said

That price is in Canada pesos. So like $60 US. What's the solenoid worth? About the same from some of y'alls allison dealers down there iirc. I'll check online again.

$70 for the solenoid from the allison dealer in calgary. So I'll probably go that route. P/N is 29541895.
I've got 45k miles on the truck now so I know the oil is still good but i've got an 8 y/o sealed pail of Transynd that I need to pour into something. I don't think oil goes bad does it? Other than water contamination.
