had this saw for almost 4 years
Itís been used and abused
Dropped off buildings and thrown around like a frisbee
I keep her feed with conventional gas and oil and she keeps running
Stihl ts420!
Had to take a ts500i in today that has maybe 2 hours on it
For some reason it just wonít stay running and I canít work on it because itís all electronic and only 1 Stihl dealer in my whole tri county area has the computer to check it
That was a poor purchase by our shop manager

Stihl makes a killer small engine. My dad has a stihl chainsaw he bought in 1989. I don't remember the model but it was one of the big ones back then. Been through who knows how many chains and lots of bars. Still starts on the 5th pull every time like clockwork
