    I honestly brag about how big and quiet my 51" Donaldson muffler is. Lol. I'm actually thinking I might throw a 20" mbrp muffler I have on my frontpipe too. I wish I had the coin for a new one, but it won't be in the cards for me for a while.

    I like my Mbrp 4". I did a few tac welds at each joint to make sure the clamps wouldn't slide. It's solid. If I ever need to take it off, a few seconds on each tac with a cutoff wheel and I'm good to go.

    Been a while since I updated this. I smacked a deer last hunting season, and added a few things, made a few changes and here it sits today. I have been driving a year with a built trans and trans safe tunes.... one of these days I'll maybe even retune it.

    Yep. I remove the thermostat housing and a/c compressor and it is way easier to get to everything. You will even have room to turn a wrench.... almost.

    With the donor truck and all, I would think it is pretty straight forward. I read a thread where a guy did it and said he just put in the duramax mounts, and dash.... he said everything else was plugged and play for the most part. I just wanted some more input, as he wasn't really detailed.

    I'm pretty slow most of the time. I spend 93.7% of my time looking for the F*&$@g tool I just set down. I had to change the fpr on my lly 3 times when I first bought it. I bet it took me 3 hours to change that stupid thing the first time. By the last time I could do it in about 45...

    More EPA reg's on the horizon possibly.

    I have a Teir 4 tractor and it hasn't given any issues. It's all egr and def. No dpf. I do use about 1 gallon of def for every 20 of diesel.... that adds up fast.

    I kinda like the new fords. I hate what chevy did to the 16 frontend though. .. I'll keep my older duramax, but when I buy new trucks I'm going to buy ford. I've had awesome luck with my 2011 6.7.
