    P0716 and P0717

I ordered a new connector for the TCM so we'll see what happens. Hopefully I find something when I'm replacing that.

    P0716 and P0717

I'll take a look at those, thanks! Oddly enough, last night after posting I was fiddling around with the TCM connector, and then I cleared the codes while the truck was running and it hasn't come back since. I haven't driven it much though. I don't like that it magically fixed itself.

    P0716 and P0717

I have an LBZ/Allison swapped Hummer and I just got these two codes. I bought a new sensor and installed it, cleared the codes and it came back. I have swapped the turbine and input sensors, cleared the codes and the code came right back. Checking from the TCM connector I get about 2700 ohms...

    Hello

Thanks! Working on it is actually pretty easy. The back of the engine is accessible from inside the cab. Kind of a blurry picture but you get the idea.

    Turbo cycling at idle

I finally got this resolved. It wasn't an issue with fueling. I think when I reassembled the turbo I didn't quite have the hot side aligned correctly. After taking the turbo out and pulling it apart again I re-indexed the vane plunger and put everything back together. Everything is working...

    Turbo cycling at idle

Interesting. I did replace the fuel filter and the feed line. I noticed the truck has a hard start and the truck seemed to be losing prime. I rebuilt the filter head today and now the prime seems to hold (after a few hours the primer is still stiff). I guess I may as well give it a shot...

    Turbo cycling at idle

The truck was up to temp in that video. I am going to try putting the old vane position sensor back in and see if that helps. If that doesn't change anything I'll have to find someone locally that has a Tech2. I'd rather not bring it to a dealer, but I suppose that is a last resort.

    Turbo cycling at idle

I just rebuilt the turbo for my LBZ in my Hummer. During the rebuild I added a KC Turbos 10 blade exhaust wheel and billet compressor wheel. I also replaced the vane position sensor and solenoid with authentic Garret parts. The truck seems to run, drive and build boost fine. However at idle...

    Unplugged Connectors

Thanks, now I see it. I wasn't even close!

    Unplugged Connectors

I'm still going through the wiring on my LBZ swapped Hummer. I've come across these two connectors on the passenger's side but they aren't plugged into anything and I don't see anything to plug them into. Before I trace the wires I'm wondering if anyone recognizes them. I suspect one is the...

    LBZ Exhaust Manifold Install

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks! What is that from?

    LBZ Exhaust Manifold Install

I'm installing a new driver's side exhaust manifold on my LBZ. I found the torque spec to be 42 ft lbs. I haven't been able to find a torque pattern though. I've installed manifolds where you start in the middle and work out and I've done them where you start on one side and work to the...

    Hello

Sorry for the delay. I've changed the wiring for the ECM and TCM and purchased an appropriately size intercooler since these pictures were taken.

    Transfer Case Wiring

    Perfect, thanks!

    Transfer Case Wiring

Thanks for the diagrams. I should have mentioned this is a manually shifted transfer case. Do you have the diagrams for those?

    Hello

Hi All. I have a 1997 Hummer that has an LBZ and Allison swapped in.

    Transfer Case Wiring

I bought a 1997 Hummer that has an LBZ, Allison 6 speed and MP1226 transfer case. The wiring done on this swap leaves a lot to be desired so I'm going through the harnesses and correcting it. As I was going through the harness last night I noticed that the transfer case 4x4 indicator switch is...
