    Whoever here guessed a stuck open EGR, you would be correct. I took it off and it was caked with soot. I pushed on the valve and it just stayed open. I hit it with a lot of carb cleaner and cleaned it out. No limp mode and no codes. It was odd to me that all I got was a p0101 for MAF sensor...

    Update: so while I was in limp mode I grabbed the wires that were bundled above the alternator and “click!” Some loud click noise and it took itself out of limp mode which it has yet to do before. I haven’t been able to limp it since?

    What is it that I hear when sitting at idle and my exhaust changes from sounding throaty to sounding restricted, back and forth? Isn’t that the egr opening and closing? If I’m going to remove and clean the egr would you recommend just blocking it?

    I thought about this as well, but I can hear my EGR valve closing and opening still. My turbo tho, no longer spins up, but I'm not sure if that's something that's disabled when in Limp Mode.

    I will go back over the connections with electrical cleaner in the a.m. I'll probably switch out the air filter just to rule that one out too. The guy I bought my truck from a few months back did a Kennedy air box mod, if you think that could be an issue? Also good call on the wiring going over...
