    How do my angles look?

    Mine were trashed early in life so I put the heavy duty ones (Yellow, better right??) on which stopped me quite high. Maybe I should order some stockers to put on and see where I end up. Other than helping with big bumps and bottoming out what will they do for me??

    Glad it works but seems odd. Like Fingers said, picture of the underside of the Valve cover would be helpful. That kind of voltage/current there "should" be evidence there.

    Is there such a thing as a regen inhibit?

    So I know from personal experience the truck will not go into regen with the engine temp below 170??(Around here) Couldn't you just put a flip switch inline with the Temp sensor? This should not allow the truck to regen until you flip the switch back so the comp sees it above the threshold.

    Just curious if you checked your oil pressure with a mechanical gauge? Don't trust the dash, those gauges can fail all of a sudden.

    Newbie rescues an LB7

    Before pulling the heads, I would pull the injector cups and check for leakage there. They will mimic a head gasket and since it is obvious someone was in there they may or may not have "Tried " to reseal the cups or dislodged one when pulling the injectors.

    Are you in Pinal or Maricopa county? if you do business in the valley here then yes it will need to pass smog. Mines older an just has a basic visual and the snap test. That new maybe more to it. I pesonally know people who do business in the valley but live in Florence area and do not smog...

    This!! Have you put in gear, 2wd and looked underneath and see if the driveline is spinning?? If so, problem is not up front.

    So how is coolant getting up to in between the head and lower valve cover? I would go with anything that might be leaking in the valley. Just my thought, maybe I am missing something??
