    fabbed me up a little air compressor from a small refrigerator compressor. small and light. but best of all, nearly completely silent. not quite done yet as I need to add an air cleaner to the inlet, a pressure relief valve and maybe paint it

    I'm going to guess if you checked all the wiring and grounds and they look good then either the flasher relay or the junction box at the rear is your problem

    I wonder if one could machine pockets or recesses in the housing behind the compressor wheel to hold magnets to induce eddie currents in the compressor and slow it down. kind of self limiting. spinning slow would have little drag but the faster it spins the more the magnets and eddie currents...

    I used to drive an International DT466E Flatbed truck a bunch of times at a previous job. didn't drive it enough to learn to slip shift but learned how to rev match for down shifting. wasn't great at it but was able to do it sufficiently. always fun
