Yep. I remove the thermostat housing and a/c compressor and it is way easier to get to everything. You will even have room to turn a wrench.... almost.

I am in desperate need of a 4 door truck, but currently own a 04 rclb Duramax. Everybody wants crazy prices for 4 door diesels around here, so picking up another 4 door diesel is out of the question...

I have a Teir 4 tractor and it hasn't given any issues. It's all egr and def. No dpf. I do use about 1 gallon of def for every 20 of diesel.... that adds up fast.

I kinda like the new fords. I hate what chevy did to the 16 frontend though. .. I'll keep my older duramax, but when I buy new trucks I'm going to buy ford. I've had awesome luck with my 2011 6.7.
