Seem like alot more things involved to run 14mm heads studs. You have to get your block machines to accept 14mm head studs and special head gaskets and get your heads machined out. Do it all over...

I bet the injectors made the difference...

I bet the injectors made the difference especially if you ran the same tune. Can't see how you would gain hp by dropping compression in that set up

I could be looking at this the wrong way but cylinder pressure= power? To much can be hard on parts. I think the dynamic compression ratio would be lower at 12:1 if they were running same size turbo...

Talking with a very knowledgeable duramax enthusiasts yesterday and he was telling me that lb7 lifters are better then lbz lifters because the lb7 lifters are self lubricating and the lbz are not....
