Only effective place I found for a temp switch was pre coolers.. never did find one that was weather tight... Ended up just running fans manually

The red 99 C3500HD was originally a 6.5TD/4L85 that got a LBZ swapped in after the crank in the 6.5td broke was probably the most cost effective to run.. minus random breakdowns..

Last time I did everything myself is with the 468 that's in my 79 malibu wagon.. did a 3 angle on the head.. CNC and dedicated cutters make it alot easier/quicker then constantly dressing grinding...
