Just got one of HSP's S300 installation kits in to install on my 2002 LB7 to help with some future turbo testing. Absolutely amazed by the craftsmanship and fabrication skills from Joe and Dave. While the out of the box S366 works well for most applications, I'm hoping to show that for a little extra money making changes to the turbine wheel and compressor wheel sizes can make substantial improvements in towing and street performance depending on fueling and end goals...

Truck has a built trans, lift pump, stock fuel.

And will be starting with a cast 66 with a 70mm turbine wheel. Then we'll switch to a 64.5 FMW on the same 70 turbine. Then jump up to the box 66 and the 67.7 with the 73 turbine. Will most likely have to toss 30% injectors in at some point

Be interesting the 66 with a 74 turbine and with an 80 turbine

That's what the box 66 is. And personally I think for up to 600 horsepower ( or stock rods )that much turbine isnt needed.

Change in plans on the turbo I'll be running. Borg Warner announced an all new line-up for the S300 crowd. More performance oriented stuff, 360-degree thrust washer and a new compressor cover design with intergrated speed sensor and boost port. They all have the Forged Mill Wheels in them too. Brand new 66mm and 69mm options to go with the 74mm turbine wheel. Said the 69mm flows almost 100lbs-min!

I've been meaning to start a thread about that new turbo line. Any word on when they're going to be released?

I was told they should be available in January, but I'd bet it's closer to March-April. The 64.5mm already available and the new 66mm should be a great option for the Dmax crowd, the 66mm has a lower surge line than the current cast 66 and moves more air. Can't wait to try them out...

Any idea on price compared to the old ones? Hopefully this will free up some used s366s for triple duties.

My 76 will be coming off for a 69/74 fmw when it's available then I'll be doing a 83 over it

I know I'm gonna have to either get rid of my billet 366 with the 80x74 turbine and go to a 363 or 364 with the 76x68 turbine or images have to feed it more fuel. At 5300 ft it's a pig and no fun to drive
