    Shocks installation

I tried the old one, it started fine but got extremely hard to turn. So I took it off and used the new one. I have a tendency to over complicate things, so I thought I should ask.

    Shocks installation

I feel like this might be kind of a dumb question, but I'm installing the Bilsteins on the front end of my truck. Do I need to use the washer & nut that came with the Bilsteins for the top of the shock, or was I supposed to use the existing nut that came off of the factory shock? The reason I...

    Bilstein shocks for leveled truck

It's a 2014. I think I'm too late for an extension, it appears the top of the passenger side is broke off. Thanks for the help

    Bilstein shocks for leveled truck

Hey guys I'm needing some help. I had my front end leveled by using the torsion bars, and one of the stock shocks broke. I'm guessing the front was lifted 1.5"-2". Which Bilsteins do I need? Will the ones that are for a 0"-1.5" work? I'm sure I'm overthinking. Thanks for the help

    Tire chains

Hey, I recently purchased my first Duramax, a 2014 Chevy 2500HD. I'm wondering if I can run chains on this if I need to. My tires are 275 70 18s in Cooper ST MAXX. Thanks for the input.

    New tires & fuel economy

Tire pressure is good. Would switching from Michelin highway tires to Cooper ST MAXX make that much of a difference? I'm going to take it back in today to make sure the alignment is fine. It feels like it pulls right to me now. He said he had it set to track straight.

    New tires & fuel economy

Yep, all I changed was the tires. Drifts right a bit after the align, although he said he had it adjusted to track straight. Thanks for the input, I'm gonna do some more checking & maybe take it back tomorrow.

    New tires & fuel economy

I just used the gauge, but I didn't think it would significantly change. The tire size was only going to make a 1 mph difference at 65.

    New tires & fuel economy

Thanks for the reply. They leveled my truck with the stock torsion keys, maybe a little more than I wanted. And they aligned it to. Do you think there's any chance something is off there? My truck looks sweet right now though.

    New tires & fuel economy

Hey there, new to the forum & just picked up my first diesel. So I got a question. I just went from 265 70 18 highway tires to 275 70 18 all terrains. It seems I lost about 2.5 to 3 mpg. Does that seem reasonable?
