    Decided to do another fluid change at 7k miles.. more fine graphite type metal attached to the magnetic drain plug - more than I think I should expect in the short interval? As others said, maybe a little of the old fluid in the tubes brought some down but still, seems like a lot for sub 10k miles.

    I haven’t tried.. it seems to really happen between 1-2 and 2-3 shifts the worst. 4-5 is fine… pulls nice in 4 and 5.

    Thanks Mike. Range shift would be unrelated? Also as I mentioned the tow haul mode never smoothed out. Drove like it did when you and I did the test drive after the build. Shifts hit hard in TH.

    Hi Mike! Doing that as well. I have a stock tune that will go back in to check if that alleviates the issues. It's over with Andy here in Reno right now - we'll see what he says.

    Put some RTV on the threads and throw it in. It will seal up nice.

    Usually need to go back in after a few heat cycles to make sure no bolts backed out. Sounds like the cause here.
