    My New BFR

All my pistols are stainless/alloy. The only blued pistol I have is my 1908-Vestpocket .25 acp. Start saving for the BFR, they ain't cheep. The two things I wish I got was a fluted cylinder and .30-30 Winchester engraved on the frame under the cylinder. jc Here is one of the BFR custom...

    My New BFR

I'll tell you what, it's a blast to shoot :D at my backyard range (that I can stretch out to about 75 yards). I'm glad I got the .30-30 and not the .45-70, the .30-30 round is about 1/2 the price, I don't reload. Another thing is, I am partial to the .30-30 because it was the very first gun I...

    My New BFR

My new Magnum Research - BFR revolver chambered in .30/30 Winchester with a 10" barrel. For shooting a rifle round, it shoots fairly easy seeing it weighs 5.3 pounds. It also comes in 7" models and many different calibers like .45/70 GOV. This is my new #1 firearm. jc :thumb:

    How is your Fire Season?

We need some of your Northern, Midwestern, and Southern rain here out West. We had the driest winter and spring here in Oregon, ever. This dry spell has kind of been going on since the winter of 2013/14, so it's pretty dry. We live out in the woods, and I am doing inventory and taking pics of...

    Happy 10th Birthday

(Couple days late because we lost internet due to the recent Pacific Coast storm) 10 years ago (12/13/04) I took delivery of my truck. I had to order it from the factory because there were no Regular Cab, Duramax, MANUAL transmission trucks anywhere near Missouri at the time. This was kind of...

What are you paying for Diesel in your area?

Diesel is still $2.49, but unleaded has dropped to $2.44. Funny, Fred M. and Shell both are at $2.49, but all the other stations are around the $3.00 (+/- $.05) mark. jc
