    Cab Isolators

You got me. I thought that might be the case I had here but apparently 2” sag is norm on all springs. Torsion bars are for the fronts only aren’t they? I know I’d you wind them up too tight for max lift they will be bumpy as hell in the front

    Cab Isolators

Well shit haha. It just didn’t seem right to me to sag that much but I guess it is. It does sit an inch higher I noticed too

    Cab Isolators

My never ending leaf spring battle! I brought a set of springs to a local shop to get re sprung. Cost was about $250 with new bushings, not bad. I swapped them in today which will now be my 2nd swap yet it’s still a PIA. I also took out the air bags, I don’t need them and they seemed to limit...

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

Thanks. Wasn’t sure if the yoke “wears out” or not and should be replaced since it would be off. I’ll make sure to get the seal and sleeve together.

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

Update a little bit. Cleaned it all up and have been driving. It’s all def wet again, bother the drain plug and yoke area so there’s fluid weeping out. Should I replace the pinion yoke assembly or just the pinion seal?

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

Ok got under there with the compressor hose and put it to the end off the diff. Blew through fine as I heard it hissing out of that vent cap up top by the filler neck. I sprayed it all down last. Ought with two bottles of brake cleaner and it still looks almost the same so I’ll have to get more...

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

Ok. Makes sense. Must be a vent type cap or something looked like a solid cap but I didn’t pull it down to see. I’ll run my compressed air through it from the diff end up tomorrow and see

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

Ok pulled the vent tube off. Put a red straw down the nipple on the diff and there was no clog there. I followed the hose and it goes all the way up to the back of the gas filler neck. There’s a black cap of sorts on the end of the hose is that right? It’s clipped to the bracket by the full neck...

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

There’s a vent on the diff? That would call the leak on the pinion side too?

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

I figured they were but for all I know the fluids never been changed so just trying to do it all at one time.

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

Here are some pics I just took showing the leaks.

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

If it’s not just the seal would I need to replace the yoke like in the kit below from the DMAX store? Or is this extra/over kill? The videos I watched made it important to mark the yoke and put it back the same tightness so how would I do that with new yoke and washer?

    Rear Diff Fluid Change

Getting ready to change the fluid in the rear diff. It’s weeping oil both front and back so I’m assuming changing the pinion seal as well would be a good idea. the LLY has 150k miles on it and I don’t know it’s history more than the better part of the year so it’s cheap insurance. What fluid...

    Boost Leak

I bought a boost tester just to have and popped it in to see and found out I have a boost leak. Here’s a video in real time so you can see. I don’t know how bad this is but 20 psi leaks out to 0 in about a minute and a half. I was able to trace the sound to I think right at the intake. It was...
