Find someone local with EFI live and pay the license fee and a few bucks to shut the codes off.

Well i am new here and not 100% where to post but, my mom just bought an 08 and it has a straight pipe which looks like a half ass job on the stock pipe. However there is no cel so i am assuming it has a tune but i can not find a tuner or anything in the truck. My question is: i want to put a 5 inch exhaust on it and by doing that, where would the lines for the dpf go? And does anyone have any recommendations for brands of exhaust?

they just get zipped tied to the frame rail outta the way. get a 5''. All the kits are fairly competitive in pricing.

5" exhaust only benifit those compensating for "small displacement" like dodge guys. Your duramax will show off just fine with a 4" and wont be obnoxious pulling mountian while hauling a trailer.jmo

Don't listen to this Crap. Rock 5 inch. Sounds bad ass and if your like me you would rather listen to the truck work then the newest ace of base song. As for ordering it. The 01-07.5 kits work on the 07.5-2010. They just can't advertise them legally.

I've done a couple now, and the exhaust itslef fits fine but the hangers do require some modifications at least on teh DIAMOND EYE kit to make them fit up in nice and snug.
