Default Injector Cups

Maybe this question has been asked, it may be a stupid question...has anyone ever tried green Loctite to seal injector cups? The green Loctite is a sleeve retainer. Just a thought or maybe I am way off base here...just thinking out loud.

I've yet to really see an issue with the red and I'd be afraid of fighting the cups if you ever needed to get them out.

The lock tight really wont make it any stronger , its used as a sealant not nec a retaining method, it cant hurt but as Matt said you may regret it if you ever have to pull them out .

true this,, the injector holds them in place while running. That green is BAD shit and i wouldn't use it anywhere i didn't have to. We used to use it at Cat to hold bearings and dowels in loose bores and I've ruined bearings getting them back out

I have always ran the green loctite, since i started using the green i have had not a single problem with cups, ive prob used it on 90 motors or more, if you do it write the first time with green and hold downs and studs you will never have to worry about pulling the cups. thats my input tho, hope it helps
