Default Cam and Crank sensor

If one of these sensors are bad how will they make the truck act. I think I've got a short in one of them, never had one of these go bad so I don't know how the truck acts. Just trying to learn something.

Never seen one go bad, there hall effect sensors so there's no parts to break...unless they got to much voltage.

Thought you can swap them into the wrong hole.
