Default Hard Shifts

Lately my truck has been shifting hard. It seems to only be the lower gears that do it. No clunking noise it just shifts like my TH350 in my camaro does, which is pretty hard. It started doing it when i loaded a new tune, so after one drive of shifting hard i loaded my previous tune in it and it still shifts hard. I have even put the stock tune in and it still shifts hard.
So is my trans finally puking or what?

your HP tuners should be able to do it , in the scan software go under VCM controls then under trans there should be trans adapt reset and fast learn reset .

Were you able to do the trans adapt with your truck trent? I Emailed hptuners support hopefully they will get back to me

Target Apply Pressure
The TCM is always looking for the perfect shift ( about 7/10 of a second ). It is constantly trimming to get to that goal. Occasionaly it will reach it but never hang on to it long because your driving style keeps changing.
Anytime you make an engine mod change of any kind it will throw the TAPs off.
Example:
I just found an exhaust leak at the EGR blocker plate. When I tightened it, engine became more responsive and the Alli flair the shifts pretty bad. I did a quick TAP reset with Tech 2 and problem went away within 4 miles.

so if i cant get my HPtuner to work wil my GM Dealer/ service center have one. No big deal if i have to go to GM I am very good friends with the owners son.
