Question Twin Turbo kit

Just curious to know how many users here run the Twin turbo kit on their trucks and what they are getting for power. Looking for possible insight on the guys that run it on the LBZ motor too. Thanks agin everyone.

I have a twinned lbz, it's the, "stock" set by MPI. Same set as Idaho Rob runs on his LBZ. I have stock motor, injectors and cp pump, do have a lift pump. I hold my boost to 43 lbs and run a hot street tune only. 575 hp to the ground, 12.6-7, 106-7 depending on track and conditions. 21+ highway, 13.5+ towing my 25 foot travel trailer, all on same tune by Idaho Rob of ATP. He runs a hotter tune, has 35 over Big Dipper Injectors, and has run 11.7 with his stock engine and cp pump. He also has a lift pump. He runs about 50 lbs of boost. He ran last weekend at Bremerton with a street tune and won both Superstreet and prostreet at the NHRDA event. Ran consistent 12.1 and 12.2 at 111+. Track was very slick.

Before twins my stock LLY with lift pump, 4" no cat exhaust and Edge/Attitude dyno'd 349/703 on the biggest #5 setting (stock setting did 236/441).

Engine is still completely stock but with a std MPI set of twins and EFI with Rob's tunes. On the #5 DSP5 tune it dyno'd 506/942 uncorrected at 4300' elevation on winter blend fuel. It's a safe tune for the engine. Dragstrip time 12.77-108.4 at estimated 7200-7300lbs with too much tire spin and a slow 60'. Best mph 108.95. The DSP5 switch is set on #4 street tune for every day. That one is 463/872 and plenty enough to run away from most other vehicles...... gets 21-22mpg cruise control on the highway even with the occasional full throttle stomp.

The truck is a lot of fun to drive. If you're thinking about twin turbos, don't hesitate just do it.

****Addtion - I know of bunch of people who have these things and they're all very satisfied.

from what i found on my truck that dyno has shown to be off by about 60 hp from a dyno jet , and 100 hp from track results . so figure yourself 550-575 rwhp .

but when matt dyno's a truck e is not inflating #'s just giving real world results . he could get it to read higher if he wanted to .

I had twins. I sold them to get a bigger set. They're GREAT! I was pushing low to mid 600 hp on the stock engine. Ran a best of 12.09@111 with a race weight of about 6650. I had many other low 12 passes, and probably could have gone lower if I had had time to get it dialed in a little better.

First thing before even thinking about twins is the trans.

I have the MPI Tow twins (On my LBZ)! I have been the best of 12.04 @110.5 with a MikeL trans and Rob's tuning, & towed a 26' Toy Hauler to the track. I Don't know what it dyno's but the ET should be low 600's. I have since added a set of 30% over tips from Dipper, and went 113.5mph, but was having some other issues. The kit is a perfect fit and finish, and would recomend MPI to anybody looking for twins. My EGT's never see over 1250, no matter what im doing. Like it was said. If you have the funds, Just do it. You will not be dissapointed!
